Our Story
Founded by East Carolina University faculty in the Brody School of Medicine, Department of Physiology and Thomas Harriot School of Arts and Sciences, Department of Chemistry, this entrepreneurial initiative sparked by collaborative research findings is evolving into an innovative treatment paradigm that may be applicable not only to adult ischemic heart disease but to other heart and tissue pathologies in people of all ages, ethnicities, and medical conditions.
